From Route 128/95 North or South:

  • Take Exit 26 (Rt 20 East)
  • Follow Rt 20 East for approximately 1 1/2 miles (7 lights) through downtown Waltham until you see Sovereign Bank on your right.
  • Take that right onto Moody Street.
  • Follow Moody Street to Pine Street at the second set of lights and turn left.
  • Look for sign for the Embassy Municipal Parking Lot on your left.
  • Park in the lot - no need to get a ticket, the City of Waltham has agreed to make the lot free for the day for us.
  • Once you park, walk back towards Moody Street. The Skellig is a few doors down from the intersection of Pine and Moody.

From Cambridge/Boston/MetroWest:

If you are not familiar with Moody Street in Waltham, it is probably easiest to take the Pike (Rt. 90) to 128/95N and follow the directions above.
Otherwise take Rt. 20 (Main St) to Moody St and follow the directions above

Via Public Transportation:

By Train From Boston: Take the Fitchburg-Gardner line from North Station to Waltham Station.

By Bus:

  • #70 - Cedarwood or Watertown Sq. - University Park Via Central Sq., Cambridge, Arsenal St. & Western Ave.
  • #70A - North Waltham - University Park Via Central Sq./Cambridge, Waltham Center & Watertown Sq.
  • #553/554 - Roberts - Downtown Boston via Newton Corner & Central Sq.,Waltham Waverley Sq. - Downtown Boston via Newton Corner & Central Sq.,Waltham
  • #556/558 - Waltham Highlands - Downtown Boston via Newton Corner Central Sq., Waltham & Newtonville Auburndale - Downtown Boston via Newton Corner
  • #505 EXPRESS BUS - Central Sq.,Wal - Downtown Via Moody St. & Mass. Turnpike
  • #170 - Oak Park - Dudley, via Central Sq., Waltham

All trains and buses stop at Waltham Common, which is a short walk to the Skellig. Walk to Moody Street and cross over the bridge. The Skellig is on the left.
